The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Ideas anybody?

I've installed the package correctly (I believe). I've demonstrated that 
the setuid
components are running setuid to 'sympa'.

I am unable to send a message to addresses in a test list I have set up 
because the
application is generating spool files that it cannot read.

What would you do in this situation? What the smartest way to debug this?
