The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

I was able to resolve the problem by changing the permissions on the
list directories that were created by wwsympa.fcgi...for some reason,
wwsympa.fcgi was creating the directories as owned by and in the group
of "root".  When I chgrp and chown'ed the directories to Sympa,
everything began working.  I believe most of my problems I have
experienced with my install were caused by small incompatibilities
between the latest version in RPM format (which looks to be for RH) and
the Mandrake distribution I use.  I.e., I used rpm -Uvh to upgrade the
package from what came with Mandrake to version 3.3.3-6 which resulted
in the location of some Sympa directories being shifted.

You must check logs, if not so clear run sympa.pl using "-d" option
(debug) to get large logs. 

When creating a list using wwsympa, the list can be created with "status
pending" which mean that the list have to be validated by listmaster
before to have "status open". The status of the created list depend on
the "create_list" used. Check it in the <list>/config file. When list
have "status pending" no message can be distributed, only list owner can
access to the list via wwsympa.
