I'd love to see this message and make some experiences with it here...

Hi Omen.

Have you seen what happened with those mails that choke "sympa.pl"?

I have one message that chokes "sympa.pl". We found it and move out
from "spool/msg" folder, and now Sympa is working again, but if I copy
this message again to "spool/msg", the "sympa.pl" process died
inmediatly.

We can't see anything unusual with this message. I'm thinking if you
have found anything unusual with the messages when the same fail
occurs to you.

Thanks for everything.

Israel.

We have a problem with Sympa. From yesterday, it is queuing mails in
the "spool/msg" folder. It is not delivering mails to users, and the
folder is growing.

What can be the reason?  Until yesterday, it was working perfectly.

When that happens to us it is because the main process (sympa.pl)
choked and died on a message.  What does "/etc/init.d/sympa status"
show?  If that shows that any processes have died then stop Sympa and
start it back up.  If the queue does not start clearing and sympa.pl
dies again then you have one particular message that is choking Sympa.
You have to find that message and move it out of the way before Sympa
will work properly.  Check "spool/tmp" for any *.stderr files that
give a clue.

Due to the limitations of human brain, I fail to remember all the mails.
So if you want your bug reports or feature requests for Sympa to be processed, please post them to the Sympa tracker
