Hello and thank you very much for your answer.
What I understand from it is that I have to add "host
listdomain.fr" to the robot.conf files related to
each domain having at least one list.
I tried to do that for the robot.conf file of a domain on
which I have a test list (I actually have 7 of these
domains/files).
"http_host listes.listdomain.fr" was already there.
Next I restarted all sympa-related process I can identify (I made
a bash script for that).
But the result remains exactly the same: no mail is sent when I
request a password in a list domain having a list containing the
email that I want to use for login.
In the log file, I can read something like "notice
Sympa::Spool::Outgoing::store() Message
Sympa::Message::Template is stored into bulk spool as
<address@concealed,3718023,7352>"
(with two spaces after "::Template", I'm wondering if
something could be missing there); does this correspond to any
physical place?
Regards,
Gingko

Quoting Gingko <address@concealed>:
I notice, however, in the middle of these logs, several “sender” addresses like *address@concealed* or *address@concealed* which are likely not valid.
They should likely be *address@concealed* or *address@concealed*.
*listes.listdomain.fr* is the web server domain, but list related emails should only end by *@listdomain.fr*.
I don't know how to change that.
In the robot.conf of your lists (/etc/sympa/$robot/robot.conf in Debian) :
## This hostname will be compared with 'SERVER_NAME' ENV var in wwsympa.fcgi
## To deduce which Virtual Robot is being queried
http_host listes.listdomain.fr
## The hostname used by Sympa when sending emails
host listdomain.fr
That should correct your problem.
But it's strange you don't get failed logs from postfix.
Sincerly,
Jean Charles Delépine
