Hi Tod

From what I know, we did not have any financial donation.

There was a short-lived proposal from RENATER to have a server with root access but we did not get anything so we gave up. Looks like RENATER was no ready to provide such hosting (I know, I am from RENATER, so it looks like shizophenia to tell "theem" and "us" but I'm reaaaaally far from hosting considerations so I don't know well how it works).

The idea was to have some hosting for our tools such as - obviously - a Sympa server and a toolf for displaying out markdown documentation.

I, for one, did not do much to get it for now - mainly because we have a lot of other topics that we want to deal with, and also because the current solution is good enough, even if it could certainly be better.

But I'm only one guy. Maybe other people have something else to tell on this topic.

Regards,

David

What does the Sympa group need to move to its own hosting (finacially, hardware, suitable web host, etc.)?

And how are donations to be made?

How about donations from the Perl Foundation?

Cheers,
