Can you just move it up one level out of bad/ into, e.g.,
/var/spool/sympa/msg/ ? I've used that method a couple times and it
seems to work. If you move files out of /var/spool/sympa/msg/ then
Sympa can get confused and die, but I've never had an issue moving a
file into the directory.
