Mj2 is a total rewrite -- it has very little in common with "Mj classic" except a name and some rudimentary compatibiity.

The issue is with converting the Mj2 mbox files to archive files -- why the alleged "RFC954 digest" looks like a single file to the script.

I was asking here because I figured in the Sympa universe at least one person had converted mbox archives to RFC954 then imported them...

Second: You're right. The "2" is a "to". I don't even know why I had the contrary in mind.
I have no idea what the difference is between 1.9 and 2. Maybe you could contact the authors of these contribs directly to have pointers on how to tweak their scripts?
Sorry I can't help more but I don't know much in Majordomo.

- mbox2sympa.pl to convert the mbox files -- the output is a set of log.* files, each an RFC954 digest with a month's posts.
- arc2mharc.pl to convert those files -- it claims to find 27 messages (NOT the full number, but each file seems to be a message), and nothing actually gets converted.

Debugging assistance?
