Liam,

Liam Kirsher a écrit :
I just tested with MailTools 1.77 and am getting the same results.
What puzzles me is that testing with just the Message.pm package seems
to work fine -- MailTools handles the bad header without a problem.
So, I wonder what is different in the Sympa environment that causes it
to have a problem.
Do you have any *.stderr file in your "tmp" sympa spool, where "*" is the pid of the sympa.pl process which crashed ?
I did notice this warning in the sympa log during startup:
Oct 9 13:37:45 pythagoras sympa(command)[3939]: Language::SetLang(),
missing locale parameter
Which is surprising... Didn't you set a "lang" parameter in your sympa.conf?
Could differing locale definitions be a problem? I'm grasping at
straws, here!
Sorry, but I tried and I still fail to make Sympa crash...

Given the error message your get, it seems that the call to
Mail::Address->parse() makes Sympa process die.
Could you please tell us what version of MailTools you are using?

You will probably need to upgrade (or downgrade) MailTools...
We have been having this same problem for months. If anyone discovers
that a particular version of MailTools corrects this, please let the
list know. Thanks.

I didn't "switch" to Apple... my OS did.
