What sympa version are you running ?
How many lists do you have ?
How many of them are "include" lists ?
Did you try using "include2" for them instead ?

It would, you just have to wait long enough, since the OS has to take care
of memory allocation and swap.

Check sympa outgoing directory, all (unprocessed) messages should be there.
There're some performance tweaks you can do, I just want to make sure you're
having issues similar to what I'm seeing (see my questions above).
