Hi Mike,

Conveniently, I asked this a little while ago - see the thread at
<https://listes.renater.fr/sympa/arc/sympa-users/2014-05/msg00044.html>.
In particular, I found a working solution with
<https://listes.renater.fr/sympa/arc/sympa-users/2014-05/msg00048.html>
and the patch reported at
<https://sourcesup.renater.fr/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=9300&group_id=23&atid=167>
(which should be in the next release of Sympa - thanks Soji!).

This basically adds an extra option to the top of the list of possible
options, called 'disable archiving ()', which allows archiving to be
disabled entirely.

Hope that helps,

Michael
