I manage a sympa server running on linux that I inherited. The previous admin wrote a script designed to add virual domains to the sympa list server.

It almost works 100% except that every domain created from this script complains that it is missing something.

As the admin I get message from the server with a "Message distribution: User error" subject and a statement saying:

Impossible to distribute your message for the following reason:

List '{virtualdomain}+owner' does not exist.

For further information, please contact listmaster@lists.{virtualdomain}

The script works by taking user input for the domain name, appending lists. to the beginning of the user entered value, and then proceeds to add sympa aliases and apache configurations, etc.

I am assuming that the script is missing setting up an alias, but I need to:

1) fix the script

2) fix the existing virtual list domains.

Any idea how? I can find a google reference or meanigful search results on the sympa site.
