The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

One of our users wants to use a SYMPA (5.3.4) list for sending out 
different messages to different large groups of users.  Populating the 
list with the Multiple Add facility is great, but when she wants to send 
a new message to a different group of users she needs to be able to 
first delete all the addresses on the list.  How can she do this other 
than by deleting them a page at a time?  Even with 500 per page this 
would be inconvenient if the list had many thousands of addresses.

She was using a different list management system before which had a PUT 
command to completely replace the previous subscribers file.  I could 
provide her with a way of doing it using a Perl script behind a special 
email address, but I would rather not if there is a proper way to do it.
