Anybody?

I have confirmed that there is nothing exotic at the OS or file-system level stopping setuid
executables from working.

To do this I compiled up the test program described here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Setuid

And this shows me that on this box I can run an executable normally (no setuid bit) and also then
setuid as sympa and get the expected results.

I've turned sympa debugging up to 4, but I can get is the error that the mail message can't be acted on
because sypa doesn't have the right permissions.

How can I best debug this?

Cheers,

Simon
