Hello David,

Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

Which version of Sympa do you use?

I'm running sympa 5.4.3 on Centos 4.6 with selinux disabled

Anyway, could you make sure wwsympa is run under the Sympa user uid? As it is the FCGI script that produces the message in the first place, it must be done as Sympa, so that sympa.pl can then use the produced file.

I think my configuration is set up correctly:

1. Apache is configured to run as User apache, Group apache

2. My ScriptAlias is:

ScriptAlias /sympa /home/sympa/bin/wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi

3. The wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi file in the bin dir appears to have been correctly
setuid to sympa:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 sympa sympa 631082 Nov 2 22:58 wwsympa.fcgi
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sympa sympa 86 Nov 2 22:58 wwsympa_sudo_wrapper.pl
-rwsr-sr-x 1 sympa sympa 6022 Nov 2 22:58 wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi

I've noticed that when the message first appears in the spool/msg directory, it has
these permissions:

-rw------- 1 root mail

Is that correct?

Regards,

Simon
