Do you have pipe aliases for the bouce replies destination ?

In such case, make sure the aliases look like :
list-owner:      |/usr/lib/sympa/bin/bouncequeue list

and not :
list-owner:      |/usr/lib/sympa/bin/bouncequeue list-owner

I had this error once.

in any case...

Anyway, you should first verify that the emails are fed back to bouncequeue,
in your MTA... and that very much depends on your MTA specifics and not on
sympa.
