Hi,

Reply-To for messages attached to digest is st to the list name.
Reply-To in the digest itself is set to list-request because it doesn't make sense to reply to a digest, likely to contain several discussions. How is it possible to know to which message(s) people reply? It's just like, in a room full of people discussing several different topics, somebody would suddenly shout "me to!" aloud without speaking to someone in particular.

If people in digest reception mode want to reply to a message, they can do it through the web interface, or choose the digest MIME format, with which messages are sent as attachments, to which people can answer.

I think it's the list owner's duty to explain this to users.
And forbid digest reception mode if users can't understand it.

I have a problem where all my lists have digests (and only digests) going out with the reply-to header set – I wouldn't even mind if it was set to the list name, but it's set to listname-request, which means I keep getting lots of e-mail that's meant for the list.

I've edit digest.tt2 and digest_plain.tt2, $HOME/etc/mail_tt2 and when that didn't work, I edited the files $HOME/bin/etc/mail_tt2 – but the blasted reply-to header is till there. I tried removing the reply-to line, and I tried changing the variable used in the existing Reply-To section, but nothing works.

Any ideas on how to get rid of/change this header?

Darrell
