I guess it was just a minor error: the patch was applied to the 
development branch only, forgetting the stabilisation branch. Thus, it 
was not transfered to the 5.3.4 (which is a snapshot of the stable 
branch at the moment it is created).

Sorry for the inconvenience. The patch will be applied to the next Sympa 
release (which will probably be the 5.4 beta).
