It isn't an ORACLE_HOME issue since the check that it is failing is just 
looking for the existence of the DBD::Oracle Perl module.  Since sudo by 
default removes a bunch of environment variables for security reasons, 
there could be some path that is getting dropped or changed.  I am unsure, 
however, why that would cause a problem with Perl finding modules.

The only thing I have come across is that the Perl sudo uses may be 
different than what is usually used.  I'm not sure what was meant by that 
statement.  :-)
