A secure way to run Sympa processes as user 'sympa' is to use SUDO.

It turns out that suidperl is disabled by default (it has been deprecated by the perl developers) on SUSE10.1/SLES10.

To fix that on SLES10, add the line:

/usr/bin/sperl5.8.8 root.root 4755

To /etc/permissions.local

And run "chmod 4755 /usr/bin/sperl5.8.8"
