We were able to reproduce this problem ; it happens under the following circumstances :

• web_archive_spam_protection list parameter set to 'at' or '_javascript_'
• using mhonarc 2.6.14 or higher

Apparently mhonarc's behavior has changed to apply the ADDRESSMODIFYCODE (we use it to protect email addresses in web archives) not only to the message body but also to header fields. Because of that the code that goes arround email addresses also appears in TT2 conditions that are broken.

We need to either ask mhonarc author to change this behavior (or provide a customizeable behavior) or we'll have to change a few things in Sympa. In the meanwhile, don't upgrade your mhonarc release !

Then the mentioned error message, when I look at an archived message....

The old archives from our old sympa can be viewed without problems,
unless I rebuild them.

If it still happens though you rebuilt the web archives, it probably
means that you are using a custom bug buggy mhonarc-ressources.tt2
file. Try removing this file to use the default mhonarc-ressources.tt2
that comes with Sympa.

Does anyone have an idea how this can be solved? This is presently a
major obstacle for moving to our new server...
