Does Sympa include any features to ensure availability of its services in the event of hardware or software failures, or in the event of a need to take down equipment to perform scheduled maintenance tasks?

Sympa has some support for clustering, but can this in any way be used in a rapid fail-over scenario?

Also, what other techniques might sites using Sympa be employing to keep a replacement server at ready?
