Hi
sympa seems to be a bundle of bugs despite 3 years development. It is not 
possible to install a current stable version of sympa-sources on a debian-
distribution, because it's customized to the redhat filesystem! It can't find 
the function library or the network configuration. Many commands are not 
found. Because of this trouble, I need to install the deb-package version 
3.3.4b.5. And here are some error messages that occur on a debiansystem

Sympa running as UserID sympa

The first attempt to send a message to mylist

After changing the mod for sympa.conf to -rw-r--r-- .o0(Sympa is not running 
as sympa?) another error message is printed in mail.log:

After changing the mods for all subdirectories to drwxrwxrwx the next
error is printed 

This message in mail.log looks good

but sympa.log indicates

Directoy and config file do exist! After changing the mod of the queue-binary 
with chmod 4755 /usr/lib/sympa/bin/queue Sympa has the ability to send my 
email to the subsribers in the database.

Like what is Sympa running, if it can't write or read files in directories of 
the same group or user?
