Mac OS X has sudo included.  No need to download it.

I use a C wrapper to run wwsympa.fcgi in Linux.  I found I needed to 
force the real uid/gid to match the effective uid/gid.  I'm not sure 
whether Mac OS X has the same notion of real and effective ids.
