Probleme pour demarrer sympa (Solaris 2.6)

bonjour,
        J'ai donc installe "sympa"  sympa-1.4.2-1 ; tout semble normal a la 
compilation;
 quand j'execute la commande: 
         # su sympa -c /usr/local/sympa/bin/sympa.pl 
         # 
la machine me redonne le controle et un ps -edf|grep sympa 
ne donne aucune indication de processus 
et:

# ls -ld /var/adm/sympa
drwxr-xr-x   2 sympa    sympa        512 Mar 15 18:07 /var/adm/sympa
# ls -lsart /var/adm/sympa
total 4
   2 drwxrwxr-x   7 root     sys          512 Mar 15 18:02 ..
   2 drwxr-xr-x   2 sympa    sympa        512 Mar 15 18:07 .

le fichier sympa.pid n'est pas cree; de meme le fichier log.

j'ai rajoute l'option # /usr/local/bin/perl -w dans sympa.pl voici le 
resultat;

Je n'ai rien trouve d'explicite concernant ce probleme sur la liste 
adresse@cachée.

Quelqu'un a-t-il deja eu ce probleme (on est en  Solaris 2.6) ?
