Hm, must be a change in 6.2.78, we're still on 6.2.76 and can run it 
fine with no such module installed.

Yes, that is a known issue 
(https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa/issues/2055), which we solved 
for now by reverting libintl-perl to v1.35 via the ports system - I 
believe it's Git branch 2026Q2 that still has that version available for 
install. There is also a different suggestion from Soji in the issue I 
just referenced, but we have not yet had a chance to investigate it.
