Hey,

Anyone know if the default List-Unsubscribe: header and the same content in a footer would satisfy the new google/yahoo/apple unsubscription rules?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Sympa version 6.2.72 implements the One-click unsubscribe feature, aka RFC 8058 (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8058).

Please see https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa/pull/1538

I think this is what the Google/Yahoo/Apple new rule is all about.

I can confirm this feature is supported in MacOS Mail but not yet in Mozilla Thunderbird although there is an ongoing discussion about it (https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/adoption-of-one-click-list-unsubscribe/idi-p/47180)

Have a great day
Alban
