We have encountered an issue with Sympa that is exactly this issue:

How do I delete the faulty message from sympa?

I have removed the message from /var/spoo/sympa/msg/bad

I can't find it anywhere else, but its still trying to generate the 
archive information to:

/var/lib/sympa/arc/REDACTED/2022-09/arctxt
