Hi Alexander,

It used to work, see <https://listes.renater.fr/sympa/arc/sympa-fr/1999-04/msg00011.html> ; some time ago.

But the feature seems to be broken on our Sympa 6.2.48:

• Sympa won't let you define an include_sql_query without db_name, db_host and db_user ;
• if you define dummy values for these parameters it fails while trying to connect to the DB (at least in my environment).

=> I suggest you rather try to build a simple flat file with your members email addresses and use the include_file parameter, see https://sympa-community.github.io/manual/customize/data-sources.html
