Good afternoon,

I'm currently testing Sympa 6.2.61b.2. The most significant change for us is:

https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa/issues/1111

Which renames "blacklist" to "blocklist". We use Steve Shipway's whitelist plugin:

https://sympa-community.github.io/manual/customize/template-plugins-modwhitelist.html
https://github.com/sshipway/sympa-6.2-plugins/tree/master/whitelist-1.2
https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa/issues/992

which adds whitelist and modlist pages. Steve's code still works, although "blacklist" and "blocklist" then appear on different wwsympa pages.

It was only 10 minutes work to clean up the templates to use "blocklist", "modlist" and "allowlist". This does require an additional upgrade step so that I end up with:

$ ls -l list_data/test-dpc22/search_filters/
total 12
-rw-r----- 1 sympa sympa 19 Apr 6 14:43 allowlist.txt
-rw-r----- 1 sympa sympa 20 Apr 6 14:13 blocklist.txt
-rw-r----- 1 sympa sympa 37 Apr 6 14:54 modlist.txt

My question (probably for Soji): does "allowlist" seem like a sensible long term name? I would rather not have to change it a second time in the future.

"Allowed Senders" and "Blocked Senders" would be slightly more descriptive to end users, so I might use those terms in the Web templates.

Thanks,

--
