Hi sympa-users,
Yes, “expire” task has never been implemented, but “expire_task” parameter in
list config page has been kept for years.
I realized it, and submitted PR (proposal of change) including
removal of this parameter: https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa/pull/394
However, if not a little people wish this feature, I will try to make it
survive. Please add comments on the page above.
(If possible, I hope it would be included in the next of next release
planned in this December or later.)
Regards,
— Soji
Hi everybody,
I had exactly the same problem. Trying half a day to implement a fitting
expiry task to ask my subscribers to resubscribe ending in learning that
expire-model tasks are not implemented at all.
But why then is it documented?
Why is there no documentation about not having implemented an important
feature?
As for now I will have to migrate all users by hand to a temporary list and
purging them from the original one asking them to subscribe to the original
list again accepting the GDPR.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
