No, gmail.com still publishes a DMARC policy of "none". Google.com on
the other hand publishers "reject" and has the same problems as
aol.com and yahoo.com.

If you hate DMARC I have a little perl shim that adds ARC headers (the
mostly done DMARC workaround for mailing lists) and does passive
aggressive From: header rewriting so this:

From: Steve <address@concealed>

turns into this:

From: Steve <address@concealed>
