You're correct, it's a problem of the mail client.
We set up a /etc/sympa/mail_tt2/moderate.tt2 to tackle the
problem an now the mail client acts correctly.
What I am more concerned about is, that the trailing ">" of
the auth key ("CONFIRM listname 30.....798>") leads
a) to an incorrect interpretation of the list name ('') and
b) and also to a misleading error message for the moderator:
>> List '' does not exist.
which should perhaps better read "incorrect authentication key"
Please consider this more as a remark than as a bug report.
Best regards
Dirk
