Hi. We may have a database corruption issue, I don’t know. We just noticed
that querying the Web UI as the listmaster for some lists, which we know
exist, returns zero results. Querying the database directly, via the
list_table, we find that these lists are missing. In fact, around half of our
lists appear to be missing. Last year we had nearly 6500 active lists. A
query this morning returned only just over 3300.

We have not upgraded or performed any updates to the system recently except
for monthly OS patching (RHEL 6). Here are the mysql patches we have applied.

mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.5r1144-7.el6.x86_64 Thu 12 Jul 2012 01:15:01 PM EDT

Our Sympa version is 6.1.11.

So far, no one is complaining that sending to lists is being affected. The
subscriber_table is okay, as far as we can tell. However, this does make
administration tasks difficult for us. And we have a user complaining that
they receive an error when trying to administrate their list via the web UI,
which we have replicated for this particular list, which is missing from the
list_table.

Has anyone seen this before? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim
