The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hi, I'm not familiar with the Debian instll, but insn't there a readme file somewhere that explains some complementary action to perform once the package is installed?
Also, you should at least have some logs in Sympa telling that a mail was preaprerd.
You can check :
- that the Sympa daemons are running,
- that the symap spools contain your message or not.

These are som preliminary researches you can do that should help.

I'm trying to setup a sympa list system on a brand new Ubuntu Trusty (apache, mysql, sympa 6.1.17) that just does not work. I've configured it to look like what I already have but when I try to request a first password for the listmaster user I've set in the sympa.conf, it just does not do anything. The mail doesn't get through, nothing in any log.

 

Anyone can help me with that?
