From what I can tell so far:
- The breakage happened a few years ago when we moved the install from a Postfix-based to Sendmail-based system
- Neither Sendmail nor Sympa are configured in any obvious way to remove Message-ID headers
- Sympa distributes messages with a new xxxxx@<Sympa-host> message ID, not the original one
- Neither the original nor the new ID are found in the archive - instead, one of the form address@concealed is found
Any ideas as to direction to take to diagnose?

It clearly coincides with a switch of servers and a move from Postfix to Sendmail - need to figure out who's trashing the Message-ID and where.

Off the top of my head, that sounds as if the Message-Id header is unavailable or incorrectly formatted.
Do you have anything set up to strip this for any reason? Or do you have something generating a very weird format of message ID? That might cause it.

Running a late 6.0, for reasons I'm trying to address separately.
Any ideas why my archives might be getting NO-ID-FOUND\.mhonarc\.org
message-IDs, and therefore not be retrievable?
