Indeed,

I had ot recreate the certificate to meet the federation requirements. I had to wait for metadata propagation to change it in the config.

It is done now and should be working.

Alos people willing to use their edugain account should wait a day or two, time for the validation process in edugain to complete end metadata to propagate.

Incidentally, I have a CRU account, but after logging in I still don’t have edit permission to the Sympa documentation.  And currently, when I try to log in, I get

“opensaml::FatalProfileException: A valid authentication statement was not found in the incoming message.”

Alternatively you could also export the sympa website via eduGAIN,

thereby allowing people to log in with their existing credentials.

AFAICT that's only possible for French institutions at this time.
