Sometimes (debian wheezy, sympa 6.1.11~dfsg-5+deb7u1) i receive an email like:

From: SYMPA
To: listmaster
Subject: Previous process crashed
X-Mailer: Sympa 6.1.11

Previous process has died unexpectedly.
Date of crash: 12 ott 2014 19:01
Errors:

Check log file for further details.

Looking at the log i see:

Oct 13 06:33:18 rita bulk[8655]: info Configuration file read, default log
level 0
Oct 13 06:33:18 rita bulk[8655]: info Starting bulk master daemon, pid 8659
Oct 13 06:33:18 rita bulk[8659]: notice tools::write_pid() Previous process
10119 died suddenly ; notifying listmaster

but:

rita:~# grep 10119 /var/log/syslog.1
Oct 12 19:01:38 rita bulk[13391]: info Starting bulk child daemon, pid 10119
Oct 12 19:01:38 rita bulk[10119]: info Bulk slave daemon started with pid
10119
Oct 12 19:11:39 rita bulk[10119]: info Process 10119 didn't send any message
since 600 seconds, exiting.
Oct 12 19:11:39 rita bulk[10119]: notice bulk.pl exited normally due to
signal

and rougly 12 hour before seems to me not so ''suddenly''. ;-)

What happens?
