Option 2 sounds like what I want, and I’ll look into it. We’re still running 6.0.1, so I’ll need to initiate an upgrade, and then your templates would be very helpful.

We achieved (2) by installing the whitelist/modlist addon for Sympa, that gives every list a configurable whitelist which you can add Joe and his friends to.

 

If you’re using Sympa 6.1.19+, I can give you a copy of the two new web_tt2 templates, line to add to the existing nav.tt2, and the include scenario to make whitelists and modlists work.

I have a moderated list. I want to make a few people “special” so that they can bypass moderation and post to the list unfettered.

 

Something like:

• Everyone’s posting is submitted to the moderator(s)
• Joe, Bob and Fred’s postings go straight to the list.

 

That is the desired configuration. Is this possible?
