Dear Sympa Users:
We've been using both Mailman and Sympa for awhile and a resent hardware issue has taken our Mailman server offline.
We've migrated almost everyone to the sympa server with one exception.
One of our customers has their own system which generates a list of email addresses and we are to take that list of email addresses and sync that list with list-subscribers.
Add users that need to be added, and remove users that need to be removed.
mailman included its own tool to do this, but sympa does not, in fact I can't even find where sympa allows list members to be added to a list via command line.
I can alter the scripts we are using to parse a list of subscribers obtained from sympa via script, removing from sympa where needed, and then parse the second list looking for additions and add them if needed.
Can't find a way to do this via google.
Many suggestions but nothing at the user level of management.
Rance
Is there was a way to query users via a script we could use that to figure out which users get removed, and which get added, but so far, this does not seem possible.
