Another point: if you want to txeak this file at the list level only, just copy it to the list directory first, and then edit it. Leave the original etc/mhonarc-ressources.tt2 where it is for the other lists.

and still another point: for some reason, this file is not in the web_tt2 subdirectory. Sp I guess that you must move it to etc and not etc/web_tt2, or expl/listname and not expl/listname/web_tt2. Just a wild guess.

There is no config option to lock the archives.

However, you can still tweak the mhonarc-ressources.tt2 file to remove the archive edition buttons.

Don't forget to :

1. Move this file to the etc/ directory first.
2. rebuild the archives afterward.

Sorry, should have been in its own thread.

We are using a Sympa list which really needs to maintain the thread
integrity of discussions over a long period of time (it was transferred
from Listserv a couple of years ago). I recently made an experimental
posting which was then distributed. Using "tag this mail for deletion" I
then successfully deleted it and I am not a moderator of that list. If
it in fact is possible to make the archive safe from ordinary users, I
suppose everyone should be advised when subscribing that what they post
there is written in stone.
