Hi Bastien,

There seem to be several queries in your single question. ;)

First: Synchronize with LDAP. The links Malcolm pointed are exactly what you need. You will define the query you want to address to your LDAP server and then Sympa will synchronize the users list:
  1. regularly
  2. before performing some actions: sending a message, display the users list, etc.
Second: let only listmasters create lists. The list creation authorization is based, as most authorization processes in Sympa, on a scenario. The scenario to use is the "create_list" scenario. the create_list.listmaster scenario does exaclty what you want : only listmasters are allowed to create lists.

More details on the create_list parameter: https://www.sympa.org/manual/conf-parameters/part1#create_list

More details on scenarios here: https://www.sympa.org/manual/authorization-scenarios#authorization_scenarios

Best regards,

David
