While nothing changed regarding aliases, the patch adds to Conf.pm variables. In the 5.3.4 patch, they were just added in src/Conf.pm in the definition of my @valid_options.

Do they now need to be defined in src/lib/confdef.pm?
Yes confdef.pm is the module where  sympa.conf parameters are described. @params structure is quite simple You can define de the default value for each parameters. Don't forget to set "vhost   => '1'," if the parameter can be set for each robot in file robot.conf.
