Well, he must be subscribed twice in a weird unusual way...
You should have a look at the database, in case the address would be 
present two times for some reason (lower/higher case, trailing/leading 
space or something else).
If you find it, then it's clearly a bug. Please report it, we would 
gladly fix it!
