Does sympa have the ability to cache its queries made for subscriber
lists? Our developers are writing a tool using soap to display the
subscribers for a list, which is being pulled from an Oracle database.
The query appears to always be real-time, and if there are many
subscribers (something like 20,000) then the delay is quite long and it
could be using a lot of resources if multiple queries are made. Could we
refer to a cached version of subscriber lists?

Second question, unrelated, does sympa have a mechanism to let us know
if a mailing went out successfully - that we could add our
internally-made web interface? Our users will be sending out a
'mass-mail' to many addresses and would like to have notification on the
page that it was sent, especially so they don't push the send button twice.

This is on a SLES10 system, Sympa 5.4.3, Oracle database 10g, using
postfix. Thank you.
