OK, so if I recompile sympa with --with-newaliases=/usr/local/bin/postalias
--with-newaliases_arg=/etc/mail/sympa_aliases I should get there?

Bit of a pain to have to recompile, but I think I should compile from source
anyway, as I originally used the FreeBSD port and notice now its nearly a year
out of date.

Chris,

Thats what I do each time and it seems to work flawlessly... Creating the sympa_aliases.db file for the first time I needed to run the command manually, but from then on those config args make it  work without problem.
