Sendmail alises form depend on the sendmail configuration. With most 
sendmail distribution, m4 macros are organized in why that local aliases 
do not include the domain definition and virtual host aliases look like 
this :

sympa-listserver3.mbari.org: "| /home/sympa/bin/queue 
address@concealed"

You should look at the virtusertable that probably include

"@listserver2.mbari.org      listserver2.mbari.org-%1%3"

If so, the alias proposition I give you is the correct form. Then you may have to modify the list_aliases.tt2 template file .
