Thanks for the reply.

I think it is a Sympa problem ... not smtp.

The reason is because the message is sent to /home/sympa/bin/queue
address@concealed about 24 hours before sympa.pl sends it.

So it seems as if it is queued up for 24+ hours or more before sympa sends
the queue.

For example, there is a message in /var/spool/sympa/msg that I sent hours
ago. It is just sitting there waiting to be picked up by sympa. In about a
day or so, sympa will pick it out of the queue and deliver. Sympa is
currently sending messages that were placed in the queue a day ago.

Any suggestions on what I can try?

Also, do you know if I can upgrade directly to the most recent version of
Sympa?

Thanks for your help!

Paul

Glad to hear from that 5 years old version of Sympa still in operation !
I would like to suggest an upgrade how ever this may not resolve your issue
because it seems to be a SMTP problem not a mailing list one. You must check
smtp logs from lists.pstudy.com and www.pstudy.com <http://www.pstudy.com>
in order to undestand why relaying a message from one host to the other
need 1 day.
