Yes you can use 'include2' with a 4.x since this feature was itntroduced in the 3.4 release.
You should definately use 'include2' since 'include' code is no more supported ; it will disappear in Sympa 5.3.

Hem, i'm using debian stable 4.X sympa version, it is still true?
I've looked at:
http://www.sympa.org/doc/html/node9.html#include2-cache
and i've not totally clear the differences between include and include2...
