You could subscribe the members of the sender list to the list in "no mail"
mode (ie: they do not receive mail). This allows them to post, but they don't
receive mail.

There seems to be no global way to change a lot of users to this though, so
I'd recommend importing the senders first, running an SQL command to change
all the members of the list (which should only be the senders at this stage)
to the "no mail" reception mode, and then import the rest of your
subscribers.

Note: The same idea works well for seperate lists of people who receive
digests as well. Import, change via sql, import real users.

What I'd really like would be an option to tell Sympa what reception mode I
want users to have that I'm adding through an interface: Wether it's through
the "Multiple Add" button on the web interface or via sympa.pl on the
command-line. (For all I know it might be there now, I'm not running the
latest version yet).
