When I sub to a list with web interface it is ok, it sends me a pass
But I send an email with subject : "sub sympa-users" to address@concealed
Than a welcome message came.
Is there an authentication for email subscription? Maybe there is , and you
don't use it.

Yes there is : configure the list in order to request authentification.
Authentication can be based on S/MIME or email confirmation request. In
the futur, we will introduce some MASS (1) technologies into Sympa both
for authentication checking and prove message issued by Sympa. MASS Is
the name of a working group where DomainKeys, IIM, METAsignature etc are
discussed. All are designed for message authentication using signature
technologies in the context of spam war.

Yes I'am tired of spam, and I think that this kind of message footer
added by some mail providers is a sort of spam because it use mailing
lists for large distribution. Should we include in Sympa a detection of
this kind of advertisement ?
